Tiny House Featured on A&E Includes $24K in Smart Tech

A Pakedge wireless router serves as the backbone of a whole-house audio and control system from Florida Smart Homes. Back in 2018, The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) commissioned a study called “Housing Market Trends & Preferences” and found that 53% of those asked would consider buying a “tiny home.” The NAHB defines a tiny home as a space that is less than 600-square feet. Due to a number of reasons related to financial considerations, tiny homes are becoming a more realistic option for a growing number of people. One of the benefits of these home spaces for potential buyers is that they are often packed with technology.  These homes are attractive to younger homebuyers because Millennials are willing to sacrifice living space for technology. Taking a look at how tiny homes are outfitted with technology, here’s a great example of someone’s willingness to sacrifice space for technology. This tiny house bid from Florida Smart homes features more than $24,000 worth of equipment that supports modern lifestyles. Working with A&E’s “Tiny Home Nation” TV show, Florida Smart homes took part in an episode called “Tiny House Hits the Road.”  Back in July of 2018, F...

Phoenix, Arizona–(Newsfile Corp. – February 6, 2020) – The Stock Day Podcast welcomed ZEN Graphene Solutions Ltd. (OTC Pink: ZENYF) (“the Company”), an emerging graphene technology solutions company with a focus on the development of graphene-based nanomaterial products and applications. Jolly began the interview by noting that Dubé was appointed CEO of the Company in early 2019 and asked about his background with the Company. Dubé explained that he has been a long-term shareholder of the Company, which eventually led to his position as its CEO. “We really liked the asset that this company has – the very rare graphite deposit in Ontario – as it is able to transform or exfoliate into graphene products easier than other graphites around the world,” explained Dubé. “With the graphene markets predicted to be 5 Billion dollars by 2030 and the Quantum Dots market supposed to be 30 Billion dollars by then as well, this created a big opportunity for this company.” “We really wanted to bring a science and business approach to this mining proje...

You could get a big TV or a bunch of smart gadgets this Black Friday, but one of the best ways to save this year is by cashing in on one of these impressive mattress deals. Worried about taking the leap and buying a new mattress online without ever laying down on it? Don’t worry, all major brands offer at least a 100-night trial (if not more). Sleep on it for a month or two, see if you like it, and if not, get your money back. The Leesa is my go-to mattress when anyone asks which bed-in-a-box they should get. It keeps you cool. It’s not overly cushiony and it’s not unforgivingly firm. It’s the Goldilocks of mail order mattresses. What I love about Leesa is that no matter what the conditions I’m sleeping in, I wake up refreshed and feeling, not just good, but great. The memory foam is supportive in all the right places and the cooling gel actually does what it...

Graduating Secured Credit Cards to Full Featured Products

In Mercator Advisory Group’s research on secured cards, we noted how the market changed since the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 (CARD Act) eliminated a series of unfair practices. Before the regulation, the market was filled with hard money lenders who took advantage of borrowers with sky-high interest rates and even worse junk fees. Things like application fees, activation fees, and risk fees tainted the product. The CARD Act cleaned up the business, and now top lenders, from Bank of America, Chase, Discover, and US Bank, offer worthwhile cards, with interest rates ranging from 11.65% to 24.99%, and reasonable, in-range fees.  Mastercard and Visa also came out with more rigorous standards for their franchisees. We peg the U.S. market at almost 5 million cards today, with the potential to embrace 500 percent more, given the number of low-banked, underbanked, and unbanked in the market. Working in credit for decades often brings friends and acquaintances with questions about “what is the best card for me to get?” Many times my answer is something along the lines of a Chase Freedom card, which I like because it carries an excellent reward str...

Freshsales is a cloud-based CRM solution that helps businesses across a variety of segments and verticals manage contacts, leads, and develop customer success strategies.
